Answer: Diaphragmatic breathing helps to use the diaphragm correctly while breathing. This type of breathing helps. Decrease the work of breathing by slowing your breathing rate, use less effort and energy to breathe, strengthen the diaphragm, decrease oxygen demand and this type of breathing delivers large amounts of O2 to the body. Diaphragmatic breathing happens when you consciously use your diaphragm to take deep breaths. Normal breathing doesn't use all your lung compacity. However, Diaphragmatic breathing uses most of, if not all, lung capacity to intake large amounts of oxygen.
