Explanation :

When an object moves in a circular track, its speed remains constant while direction changes continuously.

Acceleration is basically the rate of change of velocity per unit time. The centripetal acceleration is given by :


a_c=(v^2)/(r)

v is the speed of the object.

r is the radius of the circular path.

So, we have concluded that in a circular motion the direction changes but the speed is constant.
