When you try to determine the type of slope a graph shows, the direction of the line is really important. When a slope is positive, the line goes up in the right direction like this /. When a slope is negative, the line goes down to the right like this \. Undefined is when the line goes straight up and down and 0 is when the graph is straight across like this -.
