First off, find what the price would be after the discount:
You then take it away from the original price:
Then multiply it to find the sales tax of the item after the discount:
Add the sales tax onto it:
It will cost $85.05
Tell me if this helps!!!

Hello!
The cost of the headphones is $105. With a 25% discount, you will be saving some money.
105 * 25% = 26.25
So the discount will save you $26.25. Subtract that:
105 - 26.25 = 78.75
Next, 8% sales tax is applied to the discounted price. This means you must add 8% more to the price:
78.75 * 8% = 6.30
Finally, add this tax to the price:
78.75 + 6.30 = 85.05
The final cost of the headphones is $85.05
