You have $59.95 in your wallet and want to buy some new CDs. If the CDs are $11.99 each, what number of CDs, x, can you buy? Write and solve an inequality.

$11.99x is less than or equal to $59.95. That is the inequality. It is easiest to solve as an equation, which would be $11.99x=59.95, and then to solve that, divide both sides by 11.99 and you get x=5. I hope this helped!
