W / 30......when W = 120

120 / 30 = 4 qts <==

w = weight, qb = quarts of blood

w/30 = qb

w = 120 (given)

Plug in 120 for w, and simplify

120/30 = qb

qb = 120/30

qb = 40

Quarts of Blood = 40
