What organelle is like a storage tank of the cell because it can hold things like water?

This would be the vacuoles. These organelles store wastes and liquids made and needed by the cell. In addition, they can be used in plant cells as a way of holding the rigidity of the cell walls: when they are filled, they allow the walls to expand and exhibit turgor.
