1.) Caleb placed 5 beehives for every

2 acres on the peach orchard. Then he
placed 8 beehives for every 3 acres on the
apple orchard. Compare the ratios using
tables to find which orchards have more
bees per acre.

If the apple orchard and the peach orchard both had 12 acres of land each, there would be 32 beehives in the apple orchard and 30 beehives in the peach orchard.

This means that the apple orchard has more bees per acre than the peach orchard.

For every 15 beehives in the peach orchard, there are 16 beehives in the apple orchard. This means that the ratio of peach orchard beehives to apple orchard beehives is 15:16.

Answer:

8 beehives for every acres on the apple orchard

Explanation:

I dont know how many acres is the peach orchard or the apple orchard it=s but what I did was find a number that can both be divided by 2 and 3 which is 30

I did 30/2 = 15

15(5) = 75

to find how many beehives are in the peach orchard

and for the peach orchard I did 30/3 = 10

10(8) = 80

and comparing 75 to 80

the apple orchard has more beehives..

hope this was helpful ;)
