Margaret is dividing 829 by 4. Explain why Margaret needs to write a zero in the tens place of the quotient

Quotient is the number gotten when you divide a number by a diviser.
In this case our number is 829 and the diviser is 4, and the quotient is 207.25. When the first digit 8 is divided by 4, we get 2, then since the second digit 2 is less than four we must put zero on the tens digit of the quotient so that we can pick the third digit 9 to form 29 which is greater than 4,and the process continues ...
