Step-by-step explanation:

When two or more number of different metal elements are mixed together to result in the formation of a new metal in order to have greater strength or resistance towards corrosion then the resulting metal formed is known as an alloy.

For example, both brass and bronze are alloys of copper.

In brass there is 67% copper and 33% zinc are present. On the other hand, in bronze there is 88% copper and 12% tin are present.

This means that copper is the main component which is present in both bronze and brass.

Hence, we can conclude that brass and bronze are both alloys of copper because copper is the component in brass and bronze.
