4*2=8, 4=number of sections on the spinner, 2=number of sides on a coin

Answer is 1/8 probability

Hope this helps you

Answer:

(1)/(8)

Explanation:

When I toss a coin, then probability getting head or tail on tossing will be 50 : 50 or
(1)/(2)

Similarly when we spin a spinner, total number of events n (s) = 4

and favorable event n(E) to get 4 is 1

Therefore, probability of getting 4 in one spin =
(n(E))/(n(S))

=
(1)/(4)

Now we have to calculate the probability of getting tails and spinning a 4 will be

p =
(1)/(2) ×
(1)/(4)

p =
(1)/(8)
