Using the attached picture as a model, We have that the area A = b*h

....With the base b being b = (2x2 +2x -6) cm

And the Height h being h = (x-4) cm

So, A = (2x2 +2x -6) cm * (x-4) cm = 2x3 + 2x2 -6x - 8x2 - 8x + 24

A = 2x3 - 6x2 -14x +24
The formula for the area of a parallelogram is A = bh, where b is the base and h is-example-1
