Suppose you multiply a whole number greater than 1 by the fraction 3/5. Will the product be greater than, less than, or equal to? 1 times 3/5=_______?

The number will most likely be greater than 3/5. 1x3/5=3/5.

So if a whole number was large then 1, for example a 2.

2x3/5=6/5=1 1/5

So your answer is greater.

If the number is greater than 1, that means that it will be larger than 3/5. 3/5 * 1 = 3/5.
