Answer:

The correct answer is 96 pi cubic units

Explanation:

The volume of a cylinder formula is

V=πr2h

Where,

V= volume

r= radius

h= height

The circumference of a circle is the distance around the circle. The circumference formula is pi ( π = 3.14 ) multiply by the diameter of the circle.

Circ= π*D

So, in this case we know that the circumference is 16" pi, so 16" must be the diameter.

Radius is half of the diameter, then radius is 8".

Replacing data in volume formula

V=πr2h

V=π*8"*2*6"

V=96 π cubic units
