When exercising while breathing hard and receiving the extra oxygen it is called EPOC or extra post exercise oxygen consumption. ATP is a type of energy needed by the body for muscle movement. The amount of oxygen the muscles in the body need to produce energy for movement is Oxygen consumption. Oxygen Deficit is the condition in which the muscles are not getting the amount of oxygen they need to produce the amount of energy necessary for movement.
