The answer would be C. because it says verbal while crying isn't exactly verbal it would not be a way of verbal communication. The other options are, asking, yelling, and talking is all verbal. I hope this helps!

C because when you're crying you're not verbally or physically talking. Crying is an action but not a verbal action.
