Explanation:

I am assuming that the second equation is 4x - 4y = 13.

2x+2y=12

4x-4y=13

Multiply first equation by -2:-

-4x - 4y = -24 Add this to the second equation to eliminate x:-

-8y = -11

y = 11/8 = 1.375

Plugging this into the first equation:-

2x + 2(1.375) = 12

2x = 9.25

x = 4.625

for the first one the answer is y=-1x+6 which means x=-1 and y=6
