YESHIVA: a jewish educational institution that primarily focuses on the study of traditional religious texts such as the Talmud and the Torah, and halacha (Jewish law).

MINYAN: the minimum amount of males (10) required for certain religious customs. In most cases it represents the "community of Israel" for certain things.
