Genocide is mainly committed because someone feels the race or species they want to wipe from the planet it insignificant or the person committing the genocide feels superior. Hitler is a good example of a major attempt at genocide. He killed about two thirds of the Jewish population before he was killed. In my opinion genocide is committed mainly because someone is twisted and sees himself/herself as perfect and above all. I also think that people commit genocide because they don't care about others lives. Nor do they know the value of life on earth.

1. A country is governed by an ethnic elite that excludes the minority or the other group. Sometimes full citizenship is excluded for that group.

2. A previous genocide has occurred and had gone unpunished.

3. Lack of relations with outside world.

4. The more autocratic, the more likely it is to commit genocide.

Hope this helps!
