Please help me. Explanation needed in algebraic form:

A painting, square in shape, is placed in a wooden frame with width of 10% of the length of the side of the painting. The painting was enlarged by 10%. By what percent is the new frame bigger than the original frame if the width of the frame remains the same?

Explanation:

Let the length of the original frame be l,

then it's width is (10% of l)=
(10)/(100)×l

=
(l)/(10)

hence area of original frame=A=length×width

=
(l^(2) )/(10)

now the length of frame is enlarged by 10%

new lenght of frame=l+10%×l

=l+
(10)/(100)×l

=
(11)/(10)×l

width of new frame==
(l)/(10)

area of new frame=length×width

=
(11l^(2) )/(100)

percent change=((area of new frame-area of old frame)×100)÷area of old frame

=10%
