The similarities in the authoritarian governments of the Soviet Union and China lied in 1) the violation of A) the law, to stay in power, and B) human rights; and 2) the big connection between state and business. However, they differed in something: Chinese communism allowed groups outside of the oligarchy in the states and districts to prosper, preventing the revolts that helped breaking the Soviet Union up.
