Answer: There are 20 white lights.

Explanation:

Given : There is a string of green and white lights strung around a mirror for every 6 green lights there are 4 white lights.

i.e. Ratio of green lights to white lights = 6:4

i.e.

\frac{\text{Number of green lights}}{\text{Number of white lights}}=(6)/(4)\\\\\Rightarrow\ \frac{30}{\text{Number of white lights}}=(6)/(4)\\\\\Rightarrow\ \text{Number of white lights}=(4*30)/(6)=20

Hence, there are 20 white lights.
