Hello there!

Question:-

\sf \longmapsto2(3x+1)=3

We need to find the value of x.

Solution:-

\sf \longmapsto2(3x+1)=3

Distribute:-

\sf \longmapsto \: (2)(3x)+(2)(1)=3

On Simplification:-

\sf \longmapsto \: 6x + 2 = 3

Subtract 2 from both sides :-

\sf \longmapsto 6x+2 - 2=3 - 2

On Simplification:-

\sf \longmapsto6x + 0 = 3 - 2

\sf \longmapsto6x = 1

Divide the two sides by 6:-

\sf \longmapsto \: (6x)/(6) = (1)/(6)

Cancel 6/6, leave x, answer is 1x. 1/6 can't be cancelled.

\sf \longmapsto \: ( \cancel6x)/( \cancel6) = (1)/(6)

\sf \longmapsto \: x = (1)/(6)

In Decimal:-

\sf \longmapsto \: x = 0.16

Henceforth,the value of x is :-

\boxed{\huge\tt x = (1)/(6)}

\bold{OR,}

\boxed{\huge\tt x = 0.16}
