They say our continents were once were formed together and then they split apart, to now as we know are North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Africa, Antarctica, and Australia.

this is an English question? Well, Pangaea is the theory that all continents were once one piece of land, and continental drift is what caused the separation of the land into 7 different continents. This theory also claims that one day Pangaea is going to reconnect due to continental drift.
