For this case we must factor the following expression:
6x ^ 2-9x-6

We test the options:

Option A:

3 (2x + 1) (x-2) =

We apply distributive property for the first parenthesis:

(6x + 3) (x-2) =

We apply distributive property of the form:

(a + b) (c + d) = ac + ad + bc + bd

6x ^ 2-12x + 3x-6 =

Different signs are added and the sign of the major is placed.

6x ^ 2-9x-6

So,
3 (2x + 1) (x-2) = 6x ^ 2-9x-6

Answer:

Option A
