Robert Sternberg's Thriartic Theory of Intelligence classifies intelligence into 3 categories:
- Componential Intelligence: Ability to break down issues and search for solutions with relative ease.
- Experiential Intelligence: Ability to adapt to rapidly adapt to new tasks and rapidly improve performance with time.
- Practical Intelligence: Ability to rapidly adjust to one's surroundings.
In this case, Noah is confronted with a new activity. He quickly learns the tasks involved in this activity and starts performing it more rapidly. Quickly reducing the learning curve (time that demands an individual to gain expertise in a given task). He has a higly developed Componential Intelligence.
