Which of the following statement is NOT true? Select one:

a. The probability of an event is always between 0 and 1.
b. The probability of an event is always between 0% and 100%.
c. The probability of an unlikely event is closer to 100.

Okay, so


The probability of an event between 0 and 1. So, 0 being the absolute lowest, or false, and 1 being a true. So that's is a Y/S, or a 50/50% possibility.


0% - 100% is what all events fall under, like the previous statement, it's in a 0 - 1 probability, either it happens or does not.


The probability of an unlikely event COULD be closer to 100%, because probability doesn't account for the unknown. Something could be completely unlikely but still happen.


If you knew, BEFOREHAND, that the probability of an event would occur is 90%, then it's not uncertain. If you know without a shadow of a doubt it's 90%, that is. I would go with D.
