Answer: $560


Explanation:

Mary Robertson sells tires at a service center.The commission rates on tires sold is given as under:


10% commission on the first $ 1000 of sales,

15% commission on the next $2000 of sales and

20% commission on sales more than $ 3000


So, commission is calculated as below:

10% of $ 1000 = 10/100*1000 = 100

15% of $2000 = 15/100*2000 = 300

20% of $800 = 20/100*800 = 160


Total Commission = $100 + $300 + $160 = $ 560
