−8=x+11/−2
Step 1: Simplify both sides of the equation.
−8=x+−11/2
Step 2: Flip the equation.
x+−11/2=−8
Step 3: Add 11/2 to both sides.
x+−11/2+11/2=−8+11/2
x=−5/2
