Impulse = (force) x (time the force is applied)

Impulse = (25 N) x (0.16 sec)

Impulse = 4 Newton-seconds

Answer : The magnitude of the impulse given to the puck is, 4 N.s

Explanation :

Impulse : It is defined as the force applied to an object for a certain amount of time.

Formula used :

I=F* t

where,

I = impulse = ?

F = force = 25.0 N

t = time = 0.16 s

Now put all the given values in the above formula, we get:

I=(25.0N)* (0.16s)

I=4N.s

Therefore, the magnitude of the impulse given to the puck is, 4 N.s
