8x+10=90
-10. -10
8x=80
divide both sides by 8
x=10

So first you multiply 2 and 4x to get 8x. Then you multiply 2 and 5 to get 10. So the problem will look like:

8x+10=90

Then you subtract 10 on both sides of the problem to get:

8x=80

And then divide 8 on both sides to get

x=10
