In Lord of the Flies chapter 8-10, what kinds of words does the narrator use to describe the boys in the hunting party? What tone is used?

In Lord of the Flies, the narrator uses different adjectives such as skeptical, confident, sensible, passionate childish and irrationate – among others – so as to depict the boys’ behavior. The tone used by the author is rather ironic because of the archetypes he used in order to poke fun of society.
