Ted bought a fishing pole for $35.99, and a pair of shorts for 14.99. He had a coupon for 25% off the shorts only. What was the total cost of Ted’s items before tax?

$35.99+$14.99=50.98
50.98-25.00=25.98

Answer: I think it is 47.23

Step-by-step explanation: Because 25% of 14.99 = 11.2425 But 35.99+11.2425 dose not seem right so I pretty sure it would be 35.99+11.24= 47.23
