The three options are:
1. The policy of segregation increases a sense of inferiority because it is a law.
2. Racially segregated schools take away educational benefits from African Americans.
3. The policy of segregation makes African American children feel inferior.
Racial segregation refers to the systemic separation of people into racial or even other ethnic groups in daily life.
Segregation is defined by the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance as "the act by which a (natural or legal) person separates other persons on the basis of one of the enumerated grounds without an objective and reasonable justification, in conformity with the proposed definition of discrimination."
