integrate each term using the power rule

∫(a
x^(n)) =
(a)/(n+1)
x^(n+1)

∫(x² + 3x + 5 ) dx

=
(1)/(3)x³ +
(3)/(2)x² + 5x + c

where c is the constant of integration
