"Now children, I want you all to find something you think is scary and show me." The caretaker says with a broad smile. She was trying to encourage the kids to learn that what they thought was scary might not really be. Daisy, one of the younger girls, came clambering back up the steps and held up a mask. "Can you put that on for a moment?" The caretaker asks. Daisy nods, and puts it over her face. "Is it still scary?" The caretaker addresses all of the other children. "YESS!!" Half of them cried out. The caretaker offered a small smile before turning to Daisy, "Do you think you can tell me a silly story?" Daisy nods enthusiastically and goes on about some old man at a bakery. A few minutes pass and the children are all rolling on the floor laughing. The caretaker waited for them to calm down before speaking again, "Is it still scary?" She asked. And the children all looked at her, smiles across the room, and shook their little heads, "NO!!!!" They chorused happily.
