Solve x:

6 - 6x = -36
--Someone please help me with this! I have it as homework due for Monday! Xx

x = 7

given 6 - 6x = - 36

isolate - 6x by subtracting 6 from both sides

- 6x = - 42 ( divide both sides by - 6 for x )

x =
(-42)/(-6) = 7

Subtract 6 from -36 = -42

Divide -42 by -6 = 7
