For any number to produce a rational number, when added to 0.5 which is also a rational number, that number must be also rational.

A,C and D are all irrational numbersm while B is a rational number.

So, the answer is B.

The correct answer is B.

A is a repeated decimal, which is considered irrational.

C is also a decimal, which is considered irrational.

D is a number that is considered to go on forever, and so it is irrational.
