Solve the inequality.

remember: for an equation, whatever you do to one side, you must do to the other to make it true

also, for inequalities, if you divide or multiply both sides by a negative number, you must flip the direction of the sign (ex < to >)


-10≤2x-4<8

add 4 to both sides

-6≤2x<12

divide both sides by 2

-3≤x<6


the solution is -3≤x<6 or in set notation, x=[-3,6)
