Answer:

Emilio Aguinaldo was a Filipino revolutionary and politician. He is officially recognized as the youngest president of the Philippines. He fought the Spanish forces during the Philippine revolution and also fought in Spanish American war(1898). He ran for the presidential elections for the Philippine commonwealth. As a general, he played an important role in the Philippine revolution against Spain and succeeded in expelling the Spanish government. When the US didn't liberate the islands, Philippine declared war against the US under Aguinaldo's leadership.
