there’s a 50-50 chance that the offspring will have tail spikes and no tail spikes.

If a female dragon for tail spike is mated with a male dragon for no tail spike then all the offsprings will have tail spike as this is a dominant character in dragons.Female having tale spike is homozygous SS and male with no tail spike is also homozygous ss then the offsprings will be heterozygous Ss,Ss,Ss,Ss with tail spike.
