A train goes at a constant speed. If it covers 150 miles in 2.5 hours,How long would it take for that train to cover 100 miles?

x=(360 * 2.5)/(150)

Time taken to cover a distance of 150 miles = 2.5 hours

Time taken to cover a distance of 1 mile =
(2.5)/(150)

So, time taken to cover a distance of 100 miles is =


(2.5)/(150)*100 = 1.66

Hence, the train will take 1.66 hours to cover a distance of 100 miles.
