Why school is the second home?

because it teaches us discipline,gives us knowledge,helps to know many things,gives us manners and ya that's what this is the reason.

Assuming this is actually for school:

There are many reasons school can act as a second home.

1) For the most part of 13+ years of our lives, we need to go to school to learn the basics tools that would allow us to have a better grasp and understanding of the world, as well as the knowledge on how to use technology, which has been evolving over the years.

2) As a class, students learn to work together with the teachers acting as "parents" (which promotes friendliness, workmanship, teamwork, cooperation, etc).

3) Like a family, there will be problems, such as arguments, fights, etc. at a school.
