Hello,

Question:

Divide. −4 3/5÷1 1/5 Enter your answer as a mixed number, in simplified form, in the box.

Solution:

Turn into improper fraction,

-4 3/5 = 23/5

1 1/5 = 6/5

Use Copy Dot Flip,

-23/5 x 5/6

Multiply Across,

-23 x 5 = -115

5 x 6 = 30

= -115/30

Turn into Mixed Number,

-115/30 = -3 25/30

Simplify,

-3 25/30 = -3 5/6

Answer:

-3 5/6
