UNICEF and its partners are trying to help a generation of Rwandan children recover their lives, especially in the areas of health, counseling and education:
offering support to households headed by minors through the provision of pedagogical materials, guidance, activities for income generation and professional training
preventing the spread of HIV / AIDS through education and guidance
providing immunization, and
supporting the official education system and helping children outside the school system
