Find the slope and the y-intercept of the graph of the linear equation y=−1/7x+2.

1/7 would be the slope considering the fact that it would be go over 1 and up seven, since this is a linear equation the graph would intercept at 2, easier than it may seem :)

Point-slope form :-

... y = mx + b

In this equation, 'm' represents the slope and 'b' represents the y-intercept.

Given :-

... y = -1/7x + 2

Hence, the slope is -1/7 and y-intercept is 2 or ( 0 , 2 )
