Length = 9
Width = 3

Width:
3x + 3x + x + x = 24
8x = 24
X = 3

Length:
3(3) = 9

x=width

3x=length

3x+x=24

4x=24

4x/4=24/4

x=6

x=width=6cm

3x=length=18cm

18/2=9 cm

6/2=3cm

Length=9cm

width=3cm

because there are two length sides and 2 width sides
