3/4(8x-4)=7x-5x+6
3/4(8x-4)=2x+6 Simplify
6x-3=2x+6 Distribute
4x-3=6 Subtract 2x from each side to get x on one side
4x=9 Add 3 to each side to get x alone
x=9/4 Divide by 4 to get x
