Given line : y =-3

That means it is a horizontal line with the slope equal to zero .

Any line perpendicular to the horizontal line is said to be the vertical line .

And vertical line always looks like the equation x= h where h is the x- coordinate of any point.


Since we are looking for a line through (4,6) so

Required line is : x = 4
