first we want to put the equation in slope intercept form which is y=mx+b

first we add 6x to both sides

4y=24+6x

now we divide everything by 4

y=6+6/4x

simplified

y=3/2x+6

now we input our x values to find the y values (x,y)

y=3/2(1)+6

y=15/2 or 7.5

y=3(2)+6

y=9

y=3/2(3)+6

y=21/2 or 10.5
